..Formula.. The distance between the hooks should be approximately 10% - 15% shorter than the length of the hammock. If the hammock's length is 4 m, a good hook distance is 3 m 40cm to 3 m 60cm. An extension with a cord of 30 cm at each side is no problem - with longer cords it becomes unstable.

..Brick wall... If necessary one must cement the pegs in. A bricklayer will help you.

...Several persons... In every case the hammocks bear the indicated number of persons. More important however are the points of suspension. And, is the wall strong enough?!

...Ceiling... Yes, if the ceiling is low e.g. in a hobby cellar. With the normal height of a ceiling the elbow, which the hammock makes, would go towards a U, which is not at all comfortable. With an XL size, no problem, because you can lie crosswise in it.

...Net or fabric... It is easier to fold net hammocks and they become very small - that's good for carrying them for exambple on a bike trip. If you hang them aside in a room, they do not take up too much space. Net hammocks are unbeatably comfortable, as they adapt completely to the body. If it is hot, one always has nice air in it. That can be a disadvantage in colder days. Then you just use a cover - or you have a fabric hammock, which is naturally warmer.

...Kids... The fabric hammocks are more suitable because of the danger of getting stuck with buttons and belts in the net of the mexican hammock. It is recommended not to leave children under 6 years unsupervised in the hammock. For their safety just hang it very close to the floor.

...Leave it outside... It is not so good for cotton to get wet too often and then maybe not dry completely - or dry too often in the sun. The colours will fade.

...Sex... Yes, that's what we are asked from time to time... Well, nothing is impossible - why put boundaries to the joy of doing experiments. We recommend: do it like porcupines: very cautiously.
